Nature the Best Teacher


     Nature is a great teacher. When we observe nature carefully, we learn many things. We learn that every action has a reaction. If we cut trees indiscriminately, we suffer from disasters like droughts, floods, etc. If we take care of the nature, nature will also look after us.

     Nature teaches us how to be patient and wait for the fruits of what we have sown. The trees that stand patiently all through the year teach us selflessness. They teach us to give rather than receive. By observing animals, we learn how to live together and help each other; we learn that each and every animal is important in the food chain, and disappearance of even one can cause problems. Each plant is different with requirements; so also, each human being is different and has his or her own needs and capabilities. Nature teaches us to obey the laws of changing seasons and adjust accordingly.

     The most important teaching that Nature has at present given us is not to fool around with her but to respect her.
